About Me
Raised in Aliquippa, PA, I have since called the South Hills region home for the past 20 years. I share a cherished life with my wife Sara and my children, Samuel, Joel and our newborn daughter Marissa. I take great pride in my involvement with my sons from coaching to mentoring and have extended ties to the community. I credit my parents, Beryl and Mildred, for instilling the values that I share with my family, friends, and neighbors. Since my earliest days, I have planned and worked hard for this opportunity and will continue to do so if elected Judge of Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.
Professional History
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh and continued on to the School of Law, and received my Juris Doctorate in 1986. I have been a trial attorney for 20 years and have been with the firm Bacharach and Klein since the beginning. After 3 years, I made partner and have contributed to the success of our respected firm. I practice in several areas of the law and have dealt with a wide range of clients. I have also provided pro bono services on an annual basis, exceeding my projected goal. I spent 2 years as a public defender and have vast experience in Criminal, Civil, Juvenile, and Orphans Courts.
Loyalty
Although change presents exciting challenges, loyalty has been the key to my success and happiness. I have remained loyal to my law firm and whole-heartedly to my family and faith. When you find your chosen path in life, it is important to embrace it and put forth your strongest effort. I learned this important quality from my father, H. Beryl Klein who was a Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in Beaver County. My goal is to follow in his footsteps and apply integrity and leadership towards our judicial process. Loyalty can be acquired, but is most earnest when it is innate.
